The Black Pearl 3D Necklace is part of a collection of OOAK enamel jewelry pendants I have made. Like all of my pieces, this Black Pearl 3D necklace is the result of dedicated studies of cloisonné and its techniques.
I’ve traveled the world in pursuit of my art. This has allowed me to have vast experiences living in a tropical oasis most people can only dream of. Though many love the white sandy beaches and balmy temperatures, I found my muse in the color and rustling of the banana leaves. After sketching up a few designs, I decided to sculpt these leaves into the shape of a beautiful, bell-shaped Tahitian flower = Black Pearl 3D Necklace.
But it’s not the design that sets this custom enamel pendant apart. The Black Pearl 3D Necklace was creating after years of experimenting. This is because jewelers solder their choice metals to achieve dimension and that’s not something vitreous enamels can not tolerate. Eventually, I found a way to overcome this problem by fusing the materials together to create a 3D Enamel Pendant! Then the finishing touches were placed on this one-of-a-kind pendant.
